You have reached your destination

and I have a job that fulfills me and suits me"

Lately, I have repeatedly met people who pursue their profession as duty and see the current situation as the only possible one.

  • "You just play the game."
  • "The company is restructuring and they accept the bad offer."
  • “They have built up a good network in the company. It's too expensive for them. So they prefer to endure the bad mood.”

I ask myself: how can it be that there are so many people who are satisfied with that?

Why do so many give up at a young age when they still have more than half of their working life ahead of them?

is it fear Fear of suddenly being left without a job. Fear that the new job won't get any better either. Fear of your own talents and potential. This fear often results from beliefs that lie dormant deep within us:

"The old job doesn't get any better no matter how long I play the game."

"If I don't accept the offer, they'll throw me out"

“I studied – that means I can only go into business”.

The good thing is: there are at least as many reasons that speak in favor of to deal intensively with their own career choice .

Because: You always have the opportunity to change the situation!

And you're the only person who has the responsibility to seize that opportunity. Who else would have these?

Take a minute and feel it: How do you feel in your current job?

Don't judge the feeling, just notice it. If that feels uncomfortable, that's an indication of change.

I myself have been looking for a job that fulfills me and suits me. And since then my life has been more authentic, clearer, more powerful and more balanced. Not a day goes by that I don't throw myself into the tasks full of joy. Even if there are tasks that don't really knock my socks off (such as bookkeeping), it all fits into a coherent overall concept for me.

And I'm so thankful for that!

Company-supported further training can be carried out internally but also externally.

Attending external seminars, events and courses gives the employee an important look beyond the company.
Through contact with employees from other companies and through the input of external speakers, new impulses for one's own work can be gained.

With internal knowledge transfer, companies can make the know-how of a single person accessible to as many other colleagues as possible. Due to the constant cost pressure in the company, a mixture of external and internal training measures should be adapted to the development goals of the company and the employee.
Use further education even in old age

Due to the demographic development of the population, workers aged 45 and over are in greater demand again.
Life experience and specialist knowledge are among the most important skills of this group of people.

Through their own involvement in further training, these employees can position themselves better in the labor market than employees without further training measures.
